Dragon's
Eye:
We're
once again talking to Kerrinne MacMillin. You represent the BoD
organization, is that correct? Kerrinne: Quite correct, and it is a station that I am quite proud to fill. Dragon's Eye: How long have you been a part of the BoD? Kerrinne: As far as the public goes, I've been a part of the Brotherhood of Darkness since Potts Cest' Evalion's second time leading the BoD (circa 1997). Though I have taken 'leaves' to pursue other avenues or semi-retirement over the years. Dragon's Eye: A long standing history. The last time we interviewed you, the BoD was an intern in the FRG. Now, BoD is a speaker, with a nearly perfect vote on entrance. Congratulations on that, by the way. My next question concerns a question previously asked. You stated that being an intern was the worst feature of the FRG...now that you are no longer an intern, what has taken the place of that? Kerrinne: Thank you for the congratulations. We are all very proud to be a part of this forum. Well, the only thing right now that really annoys me, and I wouldn't even say it's all that bad given what I deal with and have dealt with in other forums, is that sometimes I feel we have to vote for the silliest things. I often wonder if someone needs to propose a vote for us (those of us who do it) to breathe. All things considered, it's not really that awful to be the worst thing I have found so far. Dragon's Eye: In your time as speaker, what was the silliest vote? Kerrinne: Honestly, I think voting archivists in is somewhat silly. If someone is capable and has the skills according to the other archivists and comes on their recommendation, then I see no reason for a vote. Also, the requiring a vote to update the FRG listing on sites or to add it...I think is somewhat a waste of everyone's time. I understand that not everyone may be of the same opinion, however. Dragon's Eye: Opinions make the world go round. Any plans on pulling the BoD out of the RWC? Kerrinne: If it were up to me alone, I'd be out in a heartbeat. However, the majority of those active in the RWC side of the BoD have said their voice. So our plan now is that we shall attempt to rebuild that side and remain in the forum for now. Woe to the leader who fails to listen to the majority voice of his or her followers. Dragon's Eye: That's true enough. One last question for you...recently, BoD beat back the Goblin Horde off the borders. That was one of very few losses delivered to the thriving masses on Goblin Mountain. You have anything you feel the need to say about that victory? Kerrinne: Woooohooo! ::chuckles:: That is the first thing that comes to mind. Seriously though, the experience was exhilarating for the Brotherhood of Darkness. As most are probably aware, the Brotherhood is not a family nor a kingdom but an army first and foremost. We have some members who live and breathe bloodshed. I'd have to say that Ranwolff and I feel more adept now at formulating strategy for future assaults much more now then before they attacked us. Dragon's Eye: Then your future is bright indeed. Thank you once again for taking time to speak to the Dragon's Eye. Kerrinne: It was my pleasure. Thank you. |
